The bounties of autumn are on display at the Beaverton Farmers Market in September, with plenty of activities, fresh fall produce and sun-loving attendees.
Located across from the Beaverton Library, the market is comprised of more than 100 vendors, including nursery growers, farmers, and ranchers - both conventional and organic - and artisan food producers.
On September 16, don't miss Mexico and Central American Independence Day Celebration, with music, crafts, piñatas and a childrens book reading from HYPERLINK "wednesdaynightpress.com/book/magdalenas-picnic-el-picnic-de-magdalena/" author Patricia Morrissey!
On September 23, it's Friends of Animals Day! We've invited many of our favorite animal shelters and animal welfare groups to the market. They'll be on site, talking about the various ways we can help out furry friends! (Please note: house pets are not allowed in the market, but service pets are).
