Don't spend another winter alone at home
For many seniors still living at home, this winter's wild weather, power outages and impassable roads have been at the very least inconvenient and uncomfortable -- if not downright dangerous for those with medical or mobility concerns.
Don't spend another winter alone. Living at Beaverton Lodge is always safe and warm, with three scrumptious meals made every day by our chef.
There's no need to worry about power outages when the wind whips up. Our solar voltaic panels generate electricity and we have solar hot water heating.
There's a back-up power generator in extreme weather conditions. If the power goes out, the generator comes on in 10 seconds, supplying electricity to the central building to keep it fully operational, including both elevators.
Hallways are lit by emergency lighting and always stay warm. During a power outage, we can feed and support residents and staff and maintain communications with emergency personnel.
Resident Managers are on site 24 hours a day. We have a relaxing heated mineral saline pool, a library with a fireplace, and a movie theater with fresh popcorn served every day.
Mingle with new friends over a cup of cocoa. Resident activities including bingo, bridge, pinochle, hand and foot, dominos, mahjong and many more fun activities.
Make an appointment to visit Beaverton Lodge, have a meal and ask about going on a tour with a resident. It's a great way to talk with people who live here and learn more about life in our community!
