Sheriff seek help identifying robber

A robbery took place Wednesday at Fred Meyer, 7700 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Highway in Raleigh Hills.

The Chase Bank in Raleigh Hills was robbed Wednesday afternoon. The suspect got away with cash and no one was hurt.

Sheriff's detectives are releasing photos of the suspect and asking the public's help in identifying him.

At about 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a reported robbery at the Chase Bank inside Fred Meyer, 7700 S.W. Beaverton Hillsdale Highway in Raleigh Hills.

Bank tellers described the man as approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a dark "beanie" hat and a blue and black North Face coat. He entered the bank and produced a note that claimed he was armed, and demanded money. The tellers complied and no one was injured. The suspect fled the bank with an undisclosed sum of money.

A Sheriff's Office K9 team was called in and conducted a search, but was unable to find the suspect, who they believe fled in a vehicle.
