Tickets are on sale for the Chef in My Garden 2017, a series of multi-course dinners, created by the region's top chefs, served in private gardens throughout the Portland-metro area, to benefit the local nonprofit Growing Gardens.

Tickets cost $175 per person, and are available at growing-gardens.org. Chefs are collaborating with Bull Run Distillery to create a signature cocktail at each dinner. Special touches include live music at each garden venue, table side coffee and tea service and a silent auction.

This will be Growing Gardens 15th annual summer dinner series. There will be six Chef in My Garden dinners, held on Sundays in July and August. Six evenings in Portland-area gardens, prepared by local chefs with local wines.

Growing Gardens uses the experience of growing food in schools, backyards and correctional facilities to cultivate healthy, equitable communities.

Chef in my Garden sponsors include Nicky USA, Garden Fever, Ring Bender LLP and Bob's Red Mill.

Other participants, including the chefs and wineries, donating services and products include Jasmine Pearl Tea, Portland Roasting, Nicky USA, and Bull Run Distillery.
