BEAVERTON POLICE

Saturday, March 24

• A Beaverton man was arrested on several charges, including second-degree kidnapping and assault connected with domestic violence, in the 6000 block of Southwest 104th Avenue.

Sunday, March 25

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at Southwest Scholls Ferry Road and 125th Avenue.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of drunken driving and recklessly endangering another person at Southwest Murray Boulevard and Jenkins Road.

Monday, March 26

• A transient was arrested on charges of burglary and second-degree criminal mischief after he reportedly shattered a window of a business in the 3000 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard and was seen riding away on a bicycle.

• A transient, previously excluded from TriMet, was arrested at the Beaverton Transit Center on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass after he attempted to board the MAX train and two buses and a TriMet supervisor asked him to leave.

• A safe with an undisclosed amount of cash was removed with a blow torch from the floor of a business in the 12000 block of Southwest Allen Boulevard.

• U.S. flags were removed and flagpoles reported broken at a business in the 13000 block of Southwest Tualatin Valley Highway.

• A silver Nissan Rogue sport utility vehicle was reported stolen while parked outside a business in the 6000 block of Southwest 124th Avenue.

• A robber took money out of the till at a business in the 3000 block of Southwest Hall Boulevard, and threatened an employee who chased him down by saying he had a gun.

• A gray Suburu Impreza hatchback was reported stolen from a parking lot in the 1500 block of Northwest Bethany Boulevard.

Tuesday, March 27

• A Beaverton woman was arrested on a charge of second-degree theft after she picked up a wallet with $324 in cash left by a customer in the 9000 block of Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway. The woman was identified by a companion who signed up for a loyalty program at the business. The wallet was returned with cash still in it.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of drunken driving at a stop on Southwest Canyon Road and Hocken Avenue.

Wednesday, March 28

• A Nike backpack valued at $150 and clothing valued at $300 were reported stolen from a vehicle in the 7000 block of Southwest Oleson Road when someone broke the passenger-side window.

• A transient was arrested on charges of unauthorized use and possession of stolen vehicles taken from a lot at a business in the 4000 block of Southwest Murray Boulevard. A 2018 BMW 430i was tracked to Hillsboro, where it was recovered. A 2017 white Volvo XC60 was still missing.

Thursday, March 29

• Two Portland women were arrested on multiple charges after they snatched a satchel from a dressing room at a business in the 8000 block of Southwest Cascade Avenue and used cards for two fraudulent purchases at the business.

• An iPad, 3-D printer and garden shears valued at $1,000 were reported stolen from the front yard of a home in the 8000 block of Southwest Canyon Road.

• Two Portland women and a Portland man were arrested, two on charges of theft and one on a warrant, in connection with removal of goods valued at more than $1,500 from businesses in Beaverton and Sherwood. The arrests followed a traffic stop at Southwest Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway and 110th Avenue. Police reported the car was stolen, and more charges were pending.

• A transient was arrested on charges of robbery and shoplifting and multiple charges of identity theft after he attempted to use force to steal from a business in the 3000 block of Southwest Cedar Hills Boulevard. He fled on foot but police on bicycles caught him.

Friday, March 30

• Police said no one was hurt when a Mustang sideswiped another vehicle as it merged onto the Sunset Highway westbound from Highway 217. The other car spun out of control and flipped onto its roof.

Saturday, March 31

• A Beaverton man was arrested on charges of attempted strangulation and offensive physical contact after his wife reported he attempted to strangle and restrain her. The incident took place in the 12000 block of Southwest Windmill Drive.

• A Hillsboro man was arrested on a charge of second-degree criminal trespass after an employee let him use a room without paying for it — to shower and reportedly use drugs — at a business in the 800 block of Southwest 158th Avenue.

• A man stole a jar with marijuana valued at more than $1,000 from a dispensary in the 4000 block of Southwest 109th Avenue. An employee confronted the man at his vehicle, but police said the man shoved the employee to the ground and threatened to use a gun.

Sunday, April 1

• A white 1993 Honda Accord was reported stolen from a home in the 12000 block of Southwest Colony Lane.

• A Beaverton man was arrested on a charge of second-degree assault — a felony — after he reportedly punched an employee in the face at a store in the 15000 block of Southwest Walker Road. The employee did not know the man, who was detained by other employees and citizens until police arrived.

TIGARD POLICE

Over the last week, Tigard police reported the following citations, arrests or responses: Warrants – 6, Violation of Stalking Order – 1, Restraining Order Violation – 1, Driving While Revoked – 1, Assault – 2, Drug Offense – 2, Theft – 3, Criminal Mischief – 1 and DUII – 1.

Wednesday, March 28

• A vehicle was reported broken into at the Eastgate Theater parking lot.

• A vehicle parked in the 12600 block was reported broken into.

• A burglary was reported in the 9700 block of London Court with the owner reporting the suspect was still inside. However, the ran out a back door when he was discovered.

• Someone reported a vehicle broken into in a parking lot in the 7500 block of Hermoso Way with mileage and expense information, vehicle registration and insurance information stolen.

• A man was reported laying on the floor of a business in the 13900 block of Pacific Highway was drinking a beer he had pulled from the shelf and was refusing to leave.

• A car in the 11800 block of Viewcrest Court was broken into with miscellaneous items removed.

Friday, March 29

• A man was reported camping out on property in the 8200 block of Hunzinker Road.

• A resident called to report packages had been taken from his residence two weeks ago.

• A case of harassment was reported in the 11100 block of 95th Avenue after a resident called and complained about a woman who tried to spit on his car and her companion pulled out a gun from his sweatshirt.

• Someone called to report a purse had been stolen from a woman while she was inside shopping at WinCo.

Saturday, March 31

• Someone entered a vehicle in the 10600 block of Park Street and removed a variety of items including a variety of phone chargers and cords.

• A deceased deer was reported partially blocking Hunziker Street near the dog park.

• An intoxicated man who appeared to be trying to burglarize an apartment in the 11200 block of Greenburg Road was arrested and taken to Washington County Jail.

• A resident reported a man walking down the street near Pacific Highway and Walnut Place and was worried the bag he was carrying looked like the kind that you might buy at a gun shop.

• A man was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants after someone noticed him walking out of his car holding a beer while a 2-year-old baby was in the back seat unrestrained.

• A drill bit and drilled out locks on laundry machines were discovered in a laundry room in the 11200 block of Greenburg Road.

Sunday, April 1

• A suspicious person was reported allegedly dealing pot from a location at Hall Boulevard and Pacific Highway.

• The theft of a 24-foot box van was reported in the 7300 block of Kable Lane.

• Several people in the 12300 block of Hall Boulevard were cited for smoking marijuana in public after someone reported seeing them inside a vehicle.

• A case of road rage was reported on Durham Road after the suspect's vehicle followed a woman to her work, tailgating her all the way. He then parked behind the woman's car, got out and stared at her before driving away.

• Criminal mischief was reported in the 15437 block of 114th Avenue after someone spray-painted an outside window.

TUALATIN POLIC

From March 27 to April 2, Tualatin police responded to 471 total calls for service, making 10 arrests and responding to nine traffic accidents.

Tuesday, March 27

• A woman with two outstanding warrants was arrested at Leveton Drive and 128th Avenue.

• Someone broke into a vehicle parked in the 20900 block of 84th Avenue and removed a variety of items.

• A vehicle was broken into in the 7400 block of Nyberg Street with a purse removed. During that same day and location, an unlocked vehicle was entered with clothes and money removed.

• Someone called in to report they were assaulted by two unknown individuals but refused to file a complaint.

Wednesday, March 28

• Someone spray-painted the words "Ghost3" on city of Tualatin property in the 5800 block of Nyberg Lane.

• A rent check was reported stolen from a drop box.

• An officer dispatched to investigate suspicious circumstances at Hazelbrook Middle School involving three juveniles found the juveniles gone but graffiti spray-painted on the west side of the school.

• City property was damaged after a vehicle pursuit through a park in the 18800 block of Martinazzi Avenue.

• Someone called in to report they were assaulted by two unknown individuals but refused to file a complaint.

• Graffiti was reported on a Legacy Meridian Park Hospital building.

• A resident reported the theft of a vehicle in the 12200 block of Tualatin Road.

Thursday, March 29

• A woman was arrested on a warrant on Mohawk Street.

• A man in a parked vehicle in the 19300 block of Martinazzi Avenue was discovered to have a misdemeanor warrant out for arrest on failure to appear

on a driving under the influence of alcohol charge.

• A man contacted at 115th Avenue and Tualatin Road was arrested after it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest.

Friday, March 30

• A man and woman were trespassed from a business in the area of 8639 Tualatin-Sherwood Road after someone reported them having sex inside a car.

Saturday, March 31

• A driver of a vehicle stopped for having expired tags was found to have no driver's license and no insurance.

Sunday, April 1

• A woman was cited for misdemeanor heroin possession in the 17600 block of Chippewa Trail.

• A woman who lives in the 11900 block of woman was arrested and charged with interfering with a public safety officer after police went to arrest her on an outstanding fugitive warrant.

• A man arrested on outstanding warrant charges in the 11900 block of Tualatin Road was also charged with proving false information to police.

• A man was arrested in the 7800 block of Sagert Street was arrested for being a felon in possession of a weapon – a spring-loaded folding knife.
