Driver lost control on sharp 90-degree angle in the road

A 27-year-old Molalla man was hospitalized Thursday after he lost control of his motorcycle on a sharp 90-degree curve on Mulino Road, about two miles from Mulino.

A motorist called 911 about 5:30 p.m. to report finding an injured man lying by the roadside. The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said Bennett’s green 1999 Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle landed about 50 feet away in the stubble of a farmer’s grain field. It did not appear that any other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Three units from the Canby Fire District responded and transported the injured man to the hospital.
