by: RAY HUGHEY - Two cars lie in ruins as police conduct an investigation into the two-car accident at 11:35 a.m. Friday along Highway 99E and Haines Road.A two-vehicle crash on Highway 99E at Haines Road sent two motorists to the hospital Friday.

Allan D. Page, 74, of Canby, was flown by Life Flight to Legacy Emanuel Median Center where he was in fair condition Monday morning.

The other driver, Scott Bush, 46, of Camas, Wash., was treated for minor injuries at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center and released.

The accident happened about 11:35 a.m.

The Oregon State Police said Page was southbound on Highway 99E in a 2007 Toyota Prius sedan, making a left turn onto Haines Road. His car was struck by a northbound 2013 GMC Yukon SUV driven by Bush, traveling in the left northbound lane.

The accident blocked traffic on Highway 99E for more than hour.

Canby Police, Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office, Oregon City Police, Canby Fire District and ODOT assisted the OSP.
