First Lt. Adams serves the Oregon Army National Guard as a reservist where he drafts wills for deploying service members and advises commanders on a multitude of legal issues. Adams has served in the U.S. Army since 2012 and was a non-commissioned officer before he became an attorney.
Adams becomes one of three Clackamas County attorneys serving in the JAG Corps.
"I am honored to serve our nation, and privileged to work at a law firm that actively supports my service," said Adams.
His employer, Canby resident and city council member Tyler Smith, attended the commissioning to pin rank on Adams.
