Food and nutrition-sponsored meal programs provide free meals to youth with no registration required. These meals can become an important source of nutritious food. Canby School District will sponsor the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP).

STOCK PHOTO - There will be four sites for those ages 18-under to visit for free meals -- Trost Elementary School, William Knight Elementary School, Baker Prairie Middle School and Wait Park. 
Parents and other adults are also encouraged to accompany their children at the sites and can purchase meals for a nominal amount ($2 for breakfast and $3.70 for lunch).

There will be four sites for those ages 18-under to visit for free meals -- Trost Elementary School, William Knight Elementary School, Baker Prairie Middle School and Wait Park. The program will operate at the following sites:

Knight Elementary School: Through Aug. 4 lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Trost Elementary School: Through July 25 breakfast served from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Through Aug. 4 lunch served from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m.

Baker Prairie Middle School: July 25 – Aug. 25 breakfast served from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch

served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Wait Park: Aug. 7 – Aug. 18 lunch served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All meals served are limited in fat, calories and sodium with plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains which meet the nutrition recommendations for a healthy lifestyle.
