The library will offer a workshop on "Relationships: A Mindfulness Perspective" on Tuesday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 p.m.
As social beings we naturally seek to connect. Good relationships with family, friends and co-workers are the key to happiness. As we look inward, mindfulness meditation practice helps us focus on the secret to building healthy and harmonious relationships.
This talk delves into the underpinnings of love, building and sustaining harmony, communicating effectively, and even repairing failed relationships.
This workshop is taught by Surja Tjahaja. He has practiced meditation for over 14 years, and he is a member of OHSU's BRAINet.
