Johnson Controls, a multinational company with operations in Canby, was selected for the 2017 "Spirit of Rotary" Award in the Business Category.

This award recognizes a business that exemplifies the true spirit of Rotary by active participation and involvement in the community and by demonstrating ethical business practices.

The recipients are selected by a diverse committee of Canby Rotary Club members. The business must be involved in service projects and must observe the Rotary four-way test in its business practices.
