The OSU Extension Service's annual program has an expanded schedule and plenty to learn

The 28th annual Clackamas County Tree School will be held Saturday, March 24, at the Oregon State University Extension Service farm at 200 Warner-Milne Road in Oregon City.

The school will offer 77 classes covering key topics to support successful management of woodland areas: forest management, tools and techniques, ponds, marketing and business, forest health, weed management, wildlife habitat, forest fungi, and more.

Twenty-four new classes are being offered based on input from woodland owners.

Tree school opens at 7:15 a.m. in the lobby of Randall Hall. It is there that attendees will pick up packets that include schedules and classroom assignments. The first classes (Block A) will begin at 8:15 a.m.

Cost is $55 for Clackamas County adults; $70 for adults out of the county; and youth 6-18 (with an adult) $25.
