The Canby Public Library will offer an afternoon of do-it-yourself activities Tuesday, Dec. 3, from 4-7 p.m. to be creative and glue, cut or paint a holiday gift.

The event is free and all materials will be provided. Everyone is welcome, but young children must be accompanied by an adult.

- Like to travel but don’t have the time or pocketbook to do so? Join the Canby Public library for a travel slide show Tuesday, Dec. 10, at 6:30 p.m. to explore the river culture along the Mekong, the temples around Angkor Wat, Laos, Cambodia and Chiang Mai in Thailand.

- Still in a fog about the new health care law? On Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m., those interested in more information can have their questions answered about “Cover Oregon: Oregon’s new health insurance marketplace.”

This central marketplace allows Oregonians to shop for health insurance plans and access financial assistance to help pay for coverage.
