While bands like Journey, Guns ‘n Roses and Van Halen likely wouldn’t perform at a small, intimate venue in Canby, the next best thing will — tribute bands that bring the sound and feel of classic bands to life.

That’s the feel that Harefest 4 will deliver over two days, July 19-20, in a field next to the Wild Hare Saloon & Cafe. Presented by Wild Hare and J-Fell, Harefest is one of the premier northwest tribute band festivals, delivering a dose of nostalgia to the summer concert series circuit.

The event, for ages 21 and older, will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday, and then kick off again Sunday at 1 p.m., and draw upwards of 4,000 people to the site.

The lineup will be: (Saturday, July 19) Gates open at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. – Ants in the Kitchen (Rod Stewart), 6 p.m. – Random Pressure (Styx-REO Speedwagon), 7 p.m. – Unchained (Van Halen), 8:15 p.m. – Steelhorse (Bon Jovi), 9:30 p.m. – Shoot to Thrill (AC/DC) and 10:45 p.m. — Appetite for Deception (Guns N’ Roses). (Sunday, July 20) Gates open at noon, 1 p.m. – Red Light Tomatoes (The Eagles), 2 p.m. – Rolling Tones (Rolling Stones), 3 p.m. – Barracuda (Heart), 4:20 p.m. – Ramble On (Led Zeppelin) and 5:45 p.m. – Stone in Love (Journey).
