Vision screening set for library
Vision Screening Monday, Aug. 11, from 10-11 a.m.
See to Read is a statewide initiative, meant to detect vision problems in young children in preschool and elementary schools.
The new Oregon law and the See to Read program encourage children to be screened before entering school, or as soon as possible.. The Elks and Lions clubs of Oregon, as well as the Oregon Library Association, have partnered to provide this service free of charge at public libraries in the state.
Trained screeners from the Oregon Elks and Oregon Lions clubs will be administering this free screening.
