Thursday, July 13

11:17 p.m., report of suspicious circumstances, suspected unknown person has been in the house, S. Ponderosa Street and S. Redwood Street.

2:55 p.m., Jeannie M. Hembling, age 62, arrested for criminal/misdemeanor driving while suspended, Highway 99E and Birch Street.

5:17 p.m., officers conducted a welfare check at NW Fifth Avenue.

6:31 p.m., property owners report three males trespassing by private river area and upon request refused to leave. Investigating officer arrested Brandin D. Riehle, age 24, of Molalla on a parole violation and for PCS heroin, 7000 block S. Knights Bridge Road.

Friday, July 14

10 a.m., reported theft of a delivered package which was later returned with items missing, valued at $17, 1400 block NE 18th Place.

10:36 p.m., James H. Belk III, age 66, of Canby, arrested for strangulation, harassment, 900 block N. Pine Street.

1:11 a.m., business reports finding a baggie containing illicit drugs and turned it over to officers. It was later tested positive for methamphetamine, lodged in property-evidence for safe keeping, NE Second Avenue.

Saturday, July 15

2:52 a.m., report of possible burglary to a business, SW First Avenue.

10:50 p.m., Canby Police officers assisted Canby Fire on a medical call, SE Township Road/SE Eighth Avenue.

Sunday, July 16

12:47 a.m., Casey D. Tallon, 42, of Canby, arrested on a parole violation detainer and charged with criminal mischief, 200-block of SW 10th Avenue.

6:01 a.m., officers responded to talk to a man walking on the railroad tracks near S. Highway 99E and South End Road. Upon investigation the man, Raymond N. Sims, 47, address unknown was arrested on a Marion County Circuit Court warrant.

7:07 p.m., report of a possible impaired driver who left the scene of a two-car, non-injury traffic accident after striking the vehicle, NW 12th Avenue/N. Holly Street.

8:11 p.m., officers assisted Canby Fire on a medical call, SE Fifth Avenue/SW Township Road.

Monday, July 17

9:38 a.m., Tony L. Wood, 41, address unknown, arrested on a Jackson County for failure to appear on a public indecency charge, Medford Municipal Court for failure to appear on a theft charge, and Reedsport Municipal Court failure to appear on a shoplifting charge, and Oregon City Municipal County for a failure to appear charge.

9:40 a.m., reported theft/non-payment of services provided by a business, loss estimated at $655, 1000-block of S. Highway 99E.

4:17 p.m., owner reports this theft of his locked bicycle from Locust Street Park, blue-black-grey: Trek one-by-one model valued at $800.

Tuesday, July 18

5:21 a.m., driver cited for no insurance, driving while suspended, vehicle towed, S. Highway 99E/NE Territorial Road.

11:50 a.m., business reported that on July 13 the recovered a stolen S267 Stihl chainsaw reported by Lebanon police department on Feb. 2016.

7:10 p.m. unknown suspect smothered vegetables and other food products over the front end of a vehicle, 500-block of NW Second Avenue.

8:59 p.m., officers responded to assist Canby Fire on a medical call.
