Flying High

The skate park at Ochoco Creek Park has become a popular gathering place for Crook County Youth. Although there are individuals at the park throughout the day many of the top athletes gather around 7 p.m. each evening to work on their skills.
   TOP: Dylan Hatch flies above the top of the eight foot ramp at the skate park. Hatch, who works for the Crook County Parks and Recreation District during the day as a groundskeeper is one of the top local skaters and is known for his high flying stunts.
   RIGHT: Fernado Saldana slashes across the rail at the top of the eight foot ramp at the park.
