Standing Prineville Strong
The community came together once again to help two victims of a home invasion assault during the Prineville Strong Raffle and Auction Sunday afternoon at Dillon's Grill.
The event raised $25,000 for the two women.
"My goal was $15,000 and we blew it by 10 grand," exclaimed Dillon's Grill Manager Erin Keaffaber, who helped organize the benefit.
She estimated about 100 people were in attendance.
"Part of healing and moving forward is knowing that everyone's there with you," Dillon's Grill owner Jim Roths said. "When you think there was that fundraiser just the day before how much money this town has put into caring for its kids. This money raised it is going to give both of those girls a fresh start, and that was the goal."
