Three men were arrested following an altercation that involved a gunshot Monday evening at a Southeast Prineville residence.
According to a Prineville Police Department report, around 5:20 p.m., 18-year-old Andrew Lopez-Koops and 19-year-old Noah Lopez-Koops intentionally or knowingly aided in causing physical injury to family member.
During the course of the altercation, 71 -year-old Charles Banks attempted to intervene and discharged a firearm at a fixed object, which authorities said created substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person. There are no known injuries as a result of the gunshot.
All three men involved in the incident were arrested and lodged in Crook County Jail. Andrew and Noah Lopez-Koops were both charged with third-degree assault and Banks was charged with reckless endangering.
An investigation determined that two unknown males may be potential witnesses or victims, and anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Prineville Police Department.
