The Tuesday morning crash occurred at what a sergeant called a bad intersection

HOLLY SCHOLZ/CENTRAL OREGONIAN - No one was injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning at the Lamonta and Grimes roads intersection.

No one was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning at the intersection of Grimes and Lamonta roads.

At approximately 10:30 a.m. Sept. 26, personnel from the Crook County Sheriff's Office and Crook County Fire and Rescue responded to a call of a two-vehicle crash that was blocking the road.

According to CCSO Sergeant Brian Bottoms, the driver of a black Toyota pickup was traveling east on Grimes Road when he pulled out in front of a Chevy pickup traveling south on Lamonta Road.

"This is a bad intersection. We get one of these once a year," Bottoms said. "There's just enough hump that you can't see people coming."

Both drivers were sore but refused medical attention, Bottoms said.
