Class of 2014 holding fundraiser Wednesday

Sunset Hearth and Home has relocated to the Ochoco Plaza

As of today, you will no longer receive the food section in the Tuesday publication of the Central Oregonian. You will still receive the food page in the Friday publication starting April 4. This change comes about because, as you may be aware, Wagner’s Price Slasher has been in the process of remodeling their store and are now IGA Wagner’s Market Fresh. Their in-paper ad had made up the bulk of the former food section. Instead of that ad, Wagner's is running a weekly grocery insert. It's included in today’s Central Oregonian, as will continue to be inserted in Tuesday Centras Oregonians into the future.

Terry and Debbie Harper and the employees have been working around the clock to get the remodeling done with as little inconvenience to their customers as possible. They plan on having everything done and in place by May 1.

The Class of 2014 Senior All Night Graduation Party will be holding a fundraiser on Wednesday, April 2 from 5 p.m. until closing at Mazatlan Family Restaurant. Main St., and help support this year’s graduating class.

The senior center is facing tough financial times that could threaten to close their doors if something doesn’t change. From July to December 2013, the Soroptimist International of Prineville Charitable Trust ended up more than $210,000 short of its $447,000 budget. You can help by donating to the Charitable Trust. A form to do so is located on page A4 of today’s Central Oregonian.

The senior center currently offers a variety of free classes.

Ultimately, the Soroptimists want the community to know that, despite its given name, people of any age can come to the senior center for lunch, and they are welcome to participate in the activities provided. For more information you can contact them at 541-447-6844.
