Golf tournament to be held this Saturday at Meadow Lakes to benefit Stryder Doescher

Prineville is all about rodeo this week, with plenty for to do for everyone. You can find a detailed events calendar on the spadia in today’s Central Oregonian. What is a spadia, you may ask? A spadia is the foldover flap on the front of the Central Oregonian. I have had many phone calls and comments regarding the spadia; whether you love it, hate it, or are quite indifferent to it. It served its purpose of getting your attention. At this time, we only do the spadia four issues a year, during rodeo time on behalf of the Crook County Chamber of Commerce, to let the community know what is happening throughout the week. Breathe easy, your Central Oregonian will be without the spadia come the July 1 newspaper.
