Chamber Directory deadline is this Friday
The Crook County Foundation "What's Brewing?" will be held Wednesday, Feb. 7 at Meadow Lakes Restaurant, 300 SW Meadow Lakes Drive, from 7 to 8 a.m. The presentation will be given by Dr. Natalie Good, DO with St. Charles Family Care, and Crook County On The Move volunteers, who will speak about a whole-food, plant-based diet and how changing what you eat can have lasting impacts on your health and the health of our community.

For more than 40 years, the Building a Better Central Oregon Awards (BBCO) have celebrated the great contributions of businesses and residents in Deschutes, Jefferson, Harney and Crook counties to enhance their community with outstanding new or renovated residential, commercial or industrial buildings. Nominations come from the individuals, community organizations and businesses. A committee of Central Oregon Association of Realtors (COAR) members select and tour the final winners based on the following criteria:
Property must be within Crook, Deschutes, Harney or Jefferson counties; must have been completed within the last two years; and have significant impact on, or enhancement to the community. Some examples are: Local economic impact, neighborhood improvement, community improvement, neighborhood/community beautification, unique design and/or unique use of materials.
The honored property can be new construction and/or renovation/restoration such as, but not limited to the following: Commercial construction (office, retail, industrial, multi-family, etc.); community projects or community art.

Eberhard's Dairy Products is pleased to announce Emily Eberhard has accepted the position as Quality Assurance and Laboratory Technician in their Quality Control Department. Eberhard graduated with a degree in product development from FIDM and holds certifications in Safety Quality Foods and Hazards Analysis Critical Control Points. Her father, Mark Eberhard, is the president of Eberhard's Dairy, which has been family owned and operated since 1951.
