University of Portland star finished second on team in kills

The former Crook County High School volleyball star finished second on the Portland Pilots in kills and aces with 246 and 16, respectively. Lindburg also finished the year with 54 blocks and 87 digs.

Lindburg, a middle blocker/outside hitter, began the season playing just front row, but by the end of the year, she was seldom leaving the court.

Lindburg was named to the all freshman team despite the Pilots finishing the season with an 0-18 conference record and an 0-27 overall mark.

Lindburg is the first Crook County High School volleyball player to earn an NCAA Division I volleyball scholarship.

Teammate Autumn Wedan of Klamath Falls was named honorable mention all league, while San Diego’s Chloe Ferrari was voted the league player of the year for the third consecutive season.
