Former Crook County High School volleyball player to play outside hitter, defensive specialist


Aspen Fuller, a former Crook County High School volleyball player has recently signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Mount Hood Community College in Gresham.by: PHOTO COURTESY OF ASPEN FULLER - Aspen Fuller signs her letter of intent to play volleyball at Mount Hood Community College. Fuller, an outside hitter and defensive specialist, started her volleyball career at Crook County, but graduated from Sam Barlow High School in Gresham.

“I’m excited,” Fuller said of the opportunity. “They want me to play outside hitter and defensive specialist.”

Fuller, started her volleyball career at CCHS, but transferred to Sam Barlow High School in Gresham her junior year.

She played club volleyball for the Rimrock Volleyball career in Prineville prior to her move. The past two seasons she has played club volleyball for the Fire in Vancouver, Wash.

Fuller is to report to Mount Hood Community College on July 31 for the start of practice, with the team’s first game scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 28.

The Saints recently hired Andrew Clifton as their new head volleyball coach. Clifton was previously an assistant coach at the University of Portland.
