Young people clean up downtown Milwaukie


Dozens of local young people took to Milwaukie’s downtown streets and helped collect more than 600 pounds of yard debris and 400 pounds of garbage earlier this month.

The event was sponsored by the following organizations: Milwaukie Rotary Club, Willamette View, Milwaukie Presbyterian Church, Historic Milwaukie NDA, Warrior Room, Painted Lady Coffee, Cha Cha Cha, Starbuck’s Coffee, Subway, Pietro’s Pizza, Bob’s Red Mill and Waste Management.
