Officers to benefit from Christmas Giving Breakfast

The North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce will donate funds to the Clackamas County Peace Officers’ Benevolent Foundation as part of its Christmas Giving Breakfast on Friday, Dec. 13.

The foundation’s mission is to provide encouragement, information, companionship, support, assistance and aid to people who work with or are involved with law enforcement, as well as coordinate acts of kindness and goodwill for people in our community, primarily those who have been victims of crime. The foundation also provides assistance and support to children and youth programs that help those who are in need or at risk.

In addition, the Clackamas Fire District’s Operation Santa Claus will be collecting toys for its annual food and toy drive that provides holiday cheer to hundreds of families in need during the holiday season.

All members of the community are invited to attend the chamber’s largest event of the year at Willamette View, 12705 S.E. River Road, Milwaukie.

Reservations for the Christmas Giving Breakfast can be made for $25 per person at yourchamber.com or by calling 503-654-7777.
