Two brothers hurt in disturbance, crash
The Clackamas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible DUII injury crash that occurred Saturday evening following a domestic dispute involving a knife at a nearby location.
Both incidents occurred on U.S. Forrest Service land off South Hillockburn Road east of Highway 211 near Estacada.
Those involved are two brothers. Their names and conditions were not immediately released.
According to the CCSO, at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Dec 2, deputies responded to a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance on Goat Mountain. The victim was reported to have an injury from a knife. He was being driven from the location to meet medical first responders for treatment and was subsequently transported by Life Flight to an area hospital.
While responding to the location, deputies were notified of a possible DUII crash involving the suspect from the domestic dispute who was driving a separate vehicle. When deputies arrived at the crash, they found the male suspect at the vehicle. He was injured and also transported by Life Flight to an area hospital.
Deputies secured the scene and began an investigation by interviewing witnesses.
American Medical Response and Clackamas Fire Department responded to provide initial medical treatment and transported both patients to the Life Flight landing area.
