All five county commissioners will participate in event hosted by the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce

The 2018 "State of the County" event will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, at the Monarch Hotel and Conference Center, 12566 S.E. 93rd Ave., Clackamas. The annual event is produced and hosted by the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce.

All five commissioners will participate. General topics and areas of interest to be covered include:

? How will decisions on local issues affect residents?

? What can the community expect in the coming years?

? What ideas are commissioners pursuing to help the region thrive?

Commissioners will speak on progress made in 2017, and on this year's priorities. The public is invited to attend and pose questions about either topic.

Seating is limited, and registration is required (see http://bit.ly/2CTIJUK). Tickets cost $30 and include lunch. There is no fee for attending and being seated in the back of the room.

The event will be recorded and later aired on the Clackamas County Government Channel and at youtube.com/ClackamasCounty.
