Olympic pole vaulter Becky Holliday will be at Willamette Striders Track Club’s spring pole vault clinic at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, to sign autographs.

Holliday will also join with local pole vault coach Rick Baggett to conduct the clinic, which will run from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

The clinic is open to vaulters of all ability levels age 12 and up, beginner through advanced. The registration fee is $200. Registration forms are available online at:

Willamette Striders’ pole vault facility is located at 14388 S. Maple Lane Rd. in Oregon City.

A 2012 Olympian, Holliday first excelled as a pole vaulter while competing for Clackamas Community College. She set a national junior college record, with a vault of 14-4, in 2001. She went on to win a national championship for Oregon in 2003, with a vault of 14-8.
