Prep football: Ground-pound Milwaukie thumps Woodburn, 46-0
Milwaukie's Chazz Amundson had touchdown runs of 80 and 39 yards in the first quarter to help carry the Mustangs to a 46-0 blowout win Friday over the Woodburn Bulldogs at Milwaukie High School.
Noah Ramirez added touchdown runs of 16 and 44 yards, and Jacob Sanders scored on a 36-yard run for the Mustangs, who racked up 372 yards rushing.
Milwaukie's Donovan Wah also had two touchdowns, scoring on a blocked punt in the first quarter and on a 12-yard pass from quarterback Grey Andreasen-VanOtten in the third quarter.
Ramirez added a two-point conversion run and Mustangs' kicker MaKenna Presley converted 2 of 6 extra point tries in her high school football debut.
Amundson finished with four carries for 124 yards, Sanders had five carries for 108 yards, and Ramirez added two carries for 60 yards.
The Mustangs (1-0) open Northwest Oregon Conference play at home Friday against St. Helens (0-2) at 7 p.m.
