City and school officials, Estacada Ford Institute leaders and prominent citizens attended the project unveiling at City Hall on Saturday, Jan. 11.

The group has decided to focus its energy on revitalizing the entrance of the Estacada Auditorium.

The leaders are considering ways to approach the project, which may include purchasing signs for the auditorium, adding lighting to the entrance or renovating the lobby.

According to a PowerPoint presented by the leaders, they hope to use the project to make the auditorium entrance more inviting and to renew interest in the performing arts in the area among other things.

The leaders announced they already have approached the Estacada School District to discuss the project.

The project is in an early stage, as the design phase has not yet begun.
