Will a balloon explode if apple cider vinegar and baking soda are mixed inside of it? Do all black markers use the same kind of ink?

Grandparents at River Mill Elementary got to explore these questions at the school's annual Grandparent's Day celebration on Friday, April 28.

The day featured student projects for the school's science fair, which had taken place earlier in the week. Students showed their grandparents and other family members their projects and explored what their schoolmates had worked on, as well.

The day also featured a photo booth so families could have a reminder of their scientific fun.
