Kids Art in the Park

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20, members of the Estacada Parks and Recreation Commission will host a day for children to sell their art in Wade Creek Park. Students in kindergarten through high school living in Estacada, Colton, Damascus and Sandy are invited to participate. For more information and an application, visit www.cityofestacada.org.

Spring Party at Aslan's How

The Spring Block Party at Aslan's How Organics is scheduled for 1-4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at 24041 S.E. Highway 224. The event will feature baby goats and free miniature pony rides. For more information, visit www.aslans-how-organics.com.

Bible Journaling Class

Whitewater Festival

The annual Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival is scheduled for May 20-21. The event features a variety of competitive whitewater events and educational clinics. Memorial Day Ceremony

The Estacada Area Support Our Troops Foundation will host a Memorial Day ceremony from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, May 29, at the Estacada Veterans Memorial, 267 N.E. Second Ave. The ceremony will be a reflection on honor, sacrifice and duty.

Memorial Day Breakfast

The American Legion and Auxiliary Carl Douglas Post 74 will hold a Memorial Day Breakfast from 7-11 a.m. Monday, May 29, at the Odd Fellows Hall, 267 SW 2nd St. Estacada. Eggs, pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea, and juice will be served. Requested donation is $6. All money raised is used to support the Legion and Auxiliary programs benefiting veterans, veteran's families and the Estacada community.

Free Archery Shoot

Douglas Ridge Rifle Club will host a free archery shoot from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 10. The event will feature a dot shoot for prizes, 50/50 money dots, and archery competition and a free lunch. The club is at 27787 Highway 224.

Fathers Day Motorcycle Show

Grace Place Senior Living will host a motorcycle show from 1-3:30 p.m. Sunday, June 18. The day will also feature music, games and refreshments. For those interested in showing their motorcycles, there is no charge. Call Grace Place at 503-630-5341 for more information and to register.

Farmers Market

The Estacada Farmers Market runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, May 6 through Sept. 30, outside of Wade Creek House Antiques, 664 N.W. Wade St.

Fire District Open House

The Estacada Rural Fire District will host its annual open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at 261 S.E. Fifth Ave.

Estacada Uncorked

Estacada Uncorked, the annual family friendly wine, food and microbrew event, is scheduled from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, June 24, on Broadway Street. Admission is $15 for adults, and children may attend for free. Admission price includes a commemorative glass and live music.

Garden Tour

Wade Creek House Antiques' seventh-annual garden tour is scheduled for Saturday, July 15. Proceeds benefit the Estacada Community Center. Gardeners interested in joining the tour should call Wade Creek House at 503-630-7556.

Old Time Cruise to Estacada

The annual Old Time Cruise to Estacada, hosted by the Route 26 Cruisers, is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Timber Park, 30878 N.W. Evergreen Way. American Legion Car Show

The annual Estacada American Legion Carl Douglas Post car show is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Viewpoint Restaurant & Lounge, 20189 S. Springwater Road. Registration is $15 per vehicle, and free for active members of the military with identification. Those who register before Saturday, July 1, will receive a complimentary buffet breakfast. Les Schwab Cruise-In

Quilt Club

Spinning Group

The Estacada spinning and fiber arts group meets from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Fridays at Betty Veveiros CPA, 309 S.W. Highway 224.

Coffee with Firefighters

Estacada fire holds a community coffee at 9 a.m the first Tuesday of each month at the fire station, 445 S.E. Currin St. The event is an opportunity to meet firefighters and staff, ask questions and learn about the district.

Wednesday Senior Lunches

Grace Place Assisted Living offers lunch for all local seniors every Wednesday. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. in the Grace Place dining hall and is followed by bingo. Lunch is $4, and bingo is $1. Grace Place is at 380 N.W. Sixth Ave.

City Council

Chamber Luncheon

The Estacada Chamber of Commerce will hold its next leadership luncheon from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 18. Police Chief Ernie Roberts will speak.
