Both candidates for Senate District 20 were running unopposed in the May 15 primary election

OLSENRepublican incumbent Alan Olsen and Democratic challenger Charles Gallia will face off in the Nov. 6 race for Oregon Senate District 20.

Both Olsen and Gallia were running unopposed in the May 15 primary election. Election results posted at 12:48 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, show that Gallia received 7,619 votes from Democrats, or 99.58 percent. Olsen garnered 7,804 votes from Republicans, or 99.77 percent. There were 31 write-in votes, or .41 percent, in the Democratic race, and there were 15 write in votes, or .18 percent, in the Republican race.

GALLIASenate District 20 includes Estacada, Eagle Creek, Canby, Gladstone, Johnson City, Barlow, Redland, Beavercreek, Boring, Damascus and southern parts of Happy Valley.
