by: COURTESY PHOTO - Western Washington County residents have two chances to see Charlie Browns juggling and comedy show this Thursday. Local families will have two chances to see Charlie Brown — touted as one of the finest cigar box jugglers in the world — tomorrow.

As part of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services' summer of programming, Charlie Brown will perform Thursday, June 26, at the Forest Grove City Library, 2114 Pacific Ave., at 11 a.m. He’ll also perform at the Banks Public Library, 111 Market St., at 2 p.m.

Charlie Brown will also be at the North Plains Public Library at 1 p.m. July 2.

He’ll juggle nearly anything — balls, blazing torches, tophats, broadswords and machetes — and he’ll do it on a teeter totter.

The Charlie Brown show provides entertainment for the whole family with his shocking technical feats blended with his unique blend of absurd comedy. He has made numerous appearances on various television shows, including “60 Minutes” and “Statler Brothers.” In addition, Charlie Brown has taken his act all around the world, touring on cruise ships and with the circus. Currently, he is a member of the “Flying Karamazov Brothers.”

Adults and kids alike can participate in the Summer Reading Program through participating libraries, including Banks, Forest Grove and Cornelius. Throughout the summer, there are special fun activities and prizes for meeting reading goals.
