NATURE'S PET MARKET - Karen SottileLike it or not, pet accidents happen, and no one is immune. Whether you have a new puppy or a cat that's afraid of car rides (like mine!), pet accidents and pet ownership are a package deal. And when your pet does have an accident, it's important to take every step you can to remove stains and odors from the site.

When it comes to clean-up, there are two categories of pet stain/odor removers that you'll select from: Classic Enzyme Cleaners and the newer Molecular Cleaners. Enzyme cleaners have been around for a long time, and the all-natural enzyme cleaners we stock work by eating and destroying stain and odor causing bacteria, restoring the affected area to its original look (and smell).

Enzyme cleaners should be applied immediately after an accident is discovered. Be sure to use them as directed, letting them sit for anywhere from 5-15 minutes. Do not use these cleaners in conjunction with other cleaners; enzyme cleaners are only effective when applied before other cleaners.

Not being able to use other cleaners is perhaps the biggest drawback to enzyme cleaners, and that's where molecular cleaners come in. A brand-new technology, these cleaners work by surrounding the odor and stain causing molecules and converting them to non-odor causing molecules. Non-toxic and biodegradable, these natural products can then simply be wiped up. Best of all, you can use them before and after using other cleaning solutions.

Visit us today and select from these and other great natural products—BEFORE your pet has their next accident.
