Missing disabled man possible danger to self and others
Gresham man Hassan Abdulhadi Ibrahim was reported missing on May 11 and police have since learned he is considered a possible danger to himself and others.
A Gresham mental health facility reported Ibrahim, 36, missing after not hearing from him for six weeks. Police said he was last seen by facility staff on April 2 when he spoke of having suicidal thoughts.
Ibrahim is not under court order to be housed at a facility and can come and go as he pleases. The facility helps him with his medication, which he has not taken since his disappearance. Without his medications, Ibrahim can become angry, paranoid, prone to exposing himself and aggressive sexualized behaviors.
Police said Ibrahim is highly mobile and has been known to travel long distances, even out of the country.
Anyone who has seen Ibrahim or knows where he might be is asked to call 911 or the Gresham Police tip line at 503-618-2719.
