More News: Mt. Hood Community College hosts print show featuring works of Gail Owen.

LOGO - Oregon School-Based Health AllianceThe Gresham-Barlow School District recently partnered with Multnomah County commissioners and Multnomah County Health Services to explore the feasibility of creating a school-based health center to serve area families.

The district has a short survey posted online and would like community members to give their opinions.

Reynolds High School is also studying the possibility of opening a school-based health center.

There are already 12 school-based health clinics in Multnomah County schools.

MHCC hosts print show

Mt. Hood Community College's Fireplace Gallery features the works of Northeast Portland-based Gail Owen. Owen's exhibit, "The High Art of Linoleum Reduction Prints," features her hand-pulled linoleum reduction relief.

Each print consists of several individual linoleum prints stitched together into a large single panel.

The Fireplace Gallery is located in the MHCC Student Union, on the main campus 26000 S.E. Stark St. The exhibit runs through Wednesday, Jan. 31.
