3 injured after MAX train strikes car in Gresham
A late-night collision involving a MAX light-rail train and a vehicle sent three people to the hospital on Sunday, Jan. 28 in Gresham.
No one on the train was injured, but the three occupants of the car — a 23-year-old woman, a 24-year-old man and another man, 58 — were sent to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Reports by KOIN 6 News, The Outlook's media partner, show a sedan stuck on the tracks near the East 188th Avenue platform in the heart of Rockwood.
"TriMet used shuttle buses for serving stations between the Gateway Transit Center and Civic Drive during delays," the TV station reported. "The scene has since been cleared."
