Metro East students practice job interviews
Metro East Web Academy, the Gresham online charter school, gave some of its students valuable experience last week in how to find a job by setting up mock interview sessions.
The students composed resumes and cover letters to use in their faux interviews.
They were able to do practice interviews with June Vining of the Trauma Intervention Program; U.S. Marine Corps recruiter Adam Ellis; Robyne Dodge-Little with Columbia Bank; Patty Kuehl, executive assistant at Easthill Church, and Scott Gernhart with Goodwill Industries.
Metro East is a public charter school sponsored by the Gresham-Barlow School District. It has about 450 students and serves grades six through 12.
