Centennial High School senior Christine Anderson has been named a commended student in the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Anderson is one of approximately 34,000 commended students nationwide.

Commended students place among the top 5 percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2014 competition by taking the 2012 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT.)

“We are thrilled that Christine is being recognized for her academic success with this honor,” said Kevin Ricker, Centennial High School principal.
