CLACKAMAS — The Reynolds Ragers have won twice to stay alive at the five-team District 2 Little League minors (ages 9-11) baseball tournament held at Riverside Park.

Reynolds opened the bracket with a 15-5 comeback win over Centennial on Friday afternoon, breaking the game open with a seven-run burst in the third inning.

The Ragers put up six more in the next inning with Asher Tanner sending an RBI-double to center field, and Kaden Frediani punching a two-run double down the left-field line. Austin Redford added a two-run triple that bounced into the right-field corner.

Dustin Hayden reached above his head for a catch in center field before firing the ball to third base to end the game on a double play in the bottom of the fourth.

Reynolds advanced to the elimination-bracket finale with a 12-6 extra-inning win over Taborvilla on Sunday and will next be in action at 6 p.m. Monday.

The championship game is set for 6 p.m. Tuesday at Riverside Park, with the 'if necessary' game at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
