The Mt. Hood Community College women's basketball team scored a 69-61 road win at Chemeketa on Wednesday night to improve to 2-1 in South Region play.

The Saints erased a six-point, first-quarter deficit, pulling into the lead for good after Petra Flemmer and McKenzie Long connected on 3-pointers to start the second half. Mt. Hood would put up 10 points before Chemeketa registered a bucket nearly four minutes into the third quarter.

? The Mt. Hood men's team dropped a 98-89 decision.

The Saints have a bye on Saturday before hosting Clark College in a 5:30 p.m. doubleheader Wednesday.
