Waible earns designation for performance in real estate

Airika Waible with New Home Realty recently earned The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing's Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist (CLHMS) designation in recognition of experience, knowledge and expertise in high-end residential properties.

Waible joins real estate professionals who have completed The Institute's training and have a proven performance in the upper-tier market.

"Agents who have earned the CLHMS designation are performing at the highest level in their community," said Diane Hartley, president of The Institute. "The CLHMS seal is a symbol of distinction. Affluent buyers and sellers from around the world look for this symbol of luxury home knowledge and expertise when putting their trust in a real estate professional."

The specialized training and ongoing membership with The Institute provide Waible with the knowledge and tools to better serve clients.

The CLHMS designation provides evidence of the successful commitment to service at the highest level.

Waible has been in real estate since 2004 and specializes in new construction and luxury homes.

Kolonic

Kolonic elected to OAFP board

West Linn physician Kathryn Kolonic was elected to the Board of Directors of the Oregon Academy of Family Physicians (OAFP) during the organization's annual Family Medicine Weekend held in April at Sunriver Resort.

She has been a member of OAFP since 2014, and is the current president of the OAFP Foundation. Her term as director will last three years.

Kolonic received her master's degree in public health focusing on health education and health promotion from Portland State University. She then earned her medical degree from Touro University in Henderson, Nev.

She completed her residency in family medicine at the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine in Las Vegas.

She returned to Oregon, where she began practicing at Providence Medical Group — Canby for three years before becoming a partner at AIM Health in West Linn where she emphasizes shared decision making, health maintenance and preventive care with her patients.
