WCW launches Wine Collective
Special collection features unique Northwest wineries
World Class Wines has launched the Wine Collective at WCW. According to Fred Baldwin, one of WCW's owners, the Wine Collective was founded to "provide exceptional wines at different price points from boutique and/or distant wineries in a central location."
Winery partners at this time include Casillo de Feliciana, Five Star Cellars and Deuce Cellars, all from Walla Walla AVA; Powers Winery frpm the Columbia Valley AVA; Vidon Vineyard from the Chehalem Mountain AVA and Potcake Saga Cellars form the Dundee Hills AVA. The Wine Collective will offer rotating wine flights from these unique wineries.
A free tasting of the Wine Collective wines will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Oct. 21.
The Wine Collective will operate during normal business hours at WCW, except during the Friday night tastings and private events.
