Blickenstaff named senior investment strategist
Todd Blickenstaff of Lake Oswego has been hired by Wells Fargo Private Banking as a senior investment strategist and vice president in Portland. In his new role he manages investment portfolios for high net worth individuals in Oregon and southwest Washington.
Blickenstaff previously worked in a similar position at U.S. Bank for 17 years, where he also managed charitable and employee benefit accounts. He also co-developed and co-managed a tax efficient equity investment program.
Blickenstaff started his financial services career in 1981 as an operations officer at Wells Fargo for three years, then served as a portfolio manager at Wells Fargo from 1984-91 before taking a similar job at BCM Management. He remained there until joining U.S. Bank in 1994.
He earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from University of Oregon and an MBA degree from Portland State University. He also is a graduate of the Cannon Trust School and a member of the Portland CFA Society. He volunteers on the board of the American Association of Individual Investors, the Oregon Humane Society's 401(K) Investment Committee and the Portland Business Alliance President's Club.
