The Springs completes major facelift

The Springs Living, a locally owned and operated senior housing company, unveiled its newly renovated property, The Springs at Carman Oaks, recently.

The project, with oversight from Todd Construction, combined the comfort and convenience of a resort with the friendliness of an old-fashioned neighborhood, turning senior living into a resort-like experience.

The newly renovated property includes a swimming pool and spa, outdoor gardens featuring rose, herb and vegetable patches, an onsite pub, wellness and fitness areas and a theater. A new deck with covered seating, fireplace and grill area has easy access to and from the dining area.

The Springs at Carman Oaks is located at 3800 Carman Drive in Lake Oswego.

Circuit Bouldering Gym opens in Tigard

The Circuit Bouldering Gym has opened a third location at 16255 SW Upper Boones Ferry Road in Tigard. Owned by Andy Coleman, the business offers bouldering, a form of rock climbing without the use of ropes or harnesses on short walls; yoga; slacklining, which is similar to tight-rope walking but on a looser, more flexible line; and weights and fitness equipment.

The Juice Box opens in kiosk on A Avenue

The Juice Box has opened at 144 A Ave. in downtown Lake Oswego. It offers raw, cold-pressed juice made daily in small batches from local ingredients in Portland. The kiosk is open 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The Juice Box also sells at Lake Oswego’s Farmers Market on Saturdays. To learn more, visit

Attend Business in the County luncheon
