URBAN RENEWAL — The Lake Oswego Redevelopment Agency board, made up of the city council, will receive a presentation about proposed development on Block 137, the downtown block where Wizer’s is located, next week. The LORA board is scheduled to meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at city hall, 380 A Ave.

CITY COUNCIL — The city council is set to meet after the LORA board on Tuesday, at about 7:30 p.m., at city hall. The agenda includes a presentation on the city’s community survey results and an executive session to discuss real property and potential litigation.

DEVELOPMENT REVIEW — The Lake Oswego Development Review Commission will hold a public hearing next week to consider a proposed 64,000-square-foot retail and office development at 4591 Carman Drive. The development would consist of six single-story buildings with multiple tenants and would require removal of 128 trees. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Monday at city hall.

FARMERS MARKET — The Lake Oswego Farmers’ Market will now offer detailed information about vendors, including farm locations and growing practices, according to the city. The information will be posted at the market information and merchant services booths. In addition, the market’s website has undergone a makeover to provide better and timelier information about vendors and entertainment at the weekly event, according to the city. The website is at

FIRE STATION SIGNS — Lake Oswego staffers will soon post some new signs giving drivers advanced warning about fire station locations so they can watch out for potential cross traffic and emergency access, according to the city.
