11/8/13 8:29 p.m. A driver fled the scene on Upper Drive after plowing into a mailbox and causing $2,500 in damage.

11/11/13 9:06 a.m. A careless driver backed out of a driveway and hit a recycling bin on Rosewood Street. A neighbor immediately rushed out of his house and started screaming at the driver.

11/12/13 12:07 p.m. A woman returned to her car parked on Jefferson Parkway to find red paint left on it by a car that had hit it. The driver of the red car is unknown.


11/9/13 6:19 p.m. A woman’s wallet, purse and cash were taken from her car in the parking lot of a restaurant. The thief gained entry by smashing a window.

11/10/13 7:03 p.m. Two juveniles swiped a cart full of pumpkins and were smashing them all over South State Street.

11/11/13 10:27 a.m. A thief broke into a car on Southwood Drive and took a garage door opener, fur coat, silver bracelet and miscellaneous nonbank cards.

11/11/13 12:52 p.m. Decorations with a Halloween/Mickey Mouse theme were stolen from a driveway on Diane Drive.

11/11/13 1:50 p.m. A stolen wallet contained a military ID, Oregon driver’s license, credit cards and a Social Security number.

11/12/13 5:31 p.m. Police received word about the theft of a woman’s passport in Los Angeles. However, because she is not a U.S. citizen she had not reported it.

11/13/13 11:53 a.m. A wallet that had been found was laid next to a cash register at a business on Boones Ferry Road, then it was stolen.

11/13/13 4:07 p.m. A girl’s bicycle, valued at $200, was reported stolen the previous day on Dunmire Drive.

11/14/13 8:26 a.m. A glass yard ornament was taken on Cambridge Court.

11/14/13 5:07 p.m. A yard ornament thief is busy on Sierra Court. A woman reported that two pictures and a carved wooden bear were taken off of her porch last week and a dog’s collar was previously stolen.

11/17/13 2:11 p.m. A decorative lamp worth $150 was stolen off a front porch on Suncreek Drive.


11/8/13 8:51 a.m. A man wearing a plaid shirt looked dazed and out of it when he walked very slowly into a coffee shop. However, he was not as spaced out as he looked.

11/8/13 8:57 a.m. Two clips of .223 hollow points were found. Twenty rounds were seized to be destroyed.

11/8/13 9:08 a.m. Two teens came to a house on Bedford Court and said they were with a Christian ministries group. But it was hard to believe this because they appeared to be high. When asked to leave, they amiably agreed.
